Fayetteville Coffee Shops That Make You Say Mmm

When I travel, I enjoy scoping out the local coffee shop scene. Each community has its own take on a local favorite, and I find that so fun to explore. Each destination also uses a different coffee bean roaster, so a standard mocha latte can have a variety of delicious variations. Whether you are visiting during the cooler months and need something to warm you up, or you’re there during the mid-summer heat and need something to cool you down, the coffee shops in Fayetteville, North Carolina have you covered.

Rude Awakening

This coffee shop draws you in from the minute you see it. A cute, narrow store front full of neon signs and outdoor seating creates the perfect eye candy. Inside, you’ll find a variety of novelty items with all the trending phrases about coffee and life. Now, for the really fun part! If you choose a latte or a cappuccino for your drink, you can have an image created into the foam. Rude Awakening has a machine that has preset images such as butterflies, cartoon characters and phrases. You can also download an app and upload your own images into their machine. How cool is that?!

One of my favorite drinks is their raspberry mocha latte- hot or cold. It makes a savory drink to sip on while you watch a movie next door at The Cameo.

The Coffee Cup

Just down the street is another fantastic coffee shop. The Coffee Cup not only serves delicious drinks and pastries, it supports the community. You can purchase locally made items, host small meetings and post prayer requests. They too have outdoor seating. The sidewalks in Fayetteville are extra wide, creating the perfect location to enjoy the southern temperatures and people watch.

Many passions fill my life but my family, friends and travel top the list by far. Combining them, or at least two of the three, makes it even better! I love being home and working in my garden but the urge to see and experience something new is always bubbling to the top. I love the researching part of planning a trip almost as much as the actual experience. I also like the challenge of seeing what kind of deals I can get so money is left over for even more trips!
